Our second screening went rather well! Despite having a smaller audience in comparison to our ‘Launch Party’, it was still a great turn-out for a foggy winters night and we projected the 27 submissions in both the main bar and an adjoining screening room at Loop.
We are amazed at the variety of techniques and subject matter in the submissions, as well as the number of countries they were received from. We are constantly looking at ways to improve the experience so please feel free to send us any suggestions you may have.
After the screening Megan announced our two finalists, Nathanael Scott for ‘highest average score’ and Kaliptus Arts for ‘highest number of ratings’. Their animations were shown again and the audience vote declared Nathanael as our official OPPOSITES WINNER.
We can’t wait to see your imaginations run wild on this one!
PLEASE NOTE: This month a large number of loops were submitted in the final week, day, hour and YES even the last minute. Not only does this give the contributor less opportunity to win and be viewed by thousands online, but it also places immense pressure on our volunteer collation team. Ideally we’d love to receive your submissions earlier in the month. The July deadline is strictly midnight on Sunday the 24th.
